Brianna Long Obituary: It is with heavy hearts that the family and community mourn the passing of Brianna Nichole Long, who departed this world on October 29, 2023, at the age of 21. Brianna will forever be remembered as a radiant young woman whose kindness, joy, and compassion touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Born on February 13, 2002, Brianna grew up in Paulding County, Georgia, where she graduated from Paulding County High School in 2020. She excelled academically and socially, shining as a member of the Varsity Cheerleading squad and the PCHS Soccer team. She was crowned Miss PCHS for superlatives, reflecting her charisma, beauty, and the deep connections she formed with her peers. Brianna was also active in the Beta Club and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, demonstrating her faith and commitment to service.
Brianna’s dreams were as ambitious as her warm smile. She aspired to graduate in May 2024 from Valdosta State University with a degree in dental hygiene, a career path that reflected her dedication to helping others. Her determination and compassion inspired those around her.
She was remembered for her infectious laughter, genuine personality, and ability to light up any room. Brianna never met a stranger and left an indelible mark on countless lives through her empathy and kindness.
Brianna is survived by her parents, Justin (Toni) Long and Brandi (Cory) Spinks; her brothers, Rylan Long and Blake Garner; her grandparents, Monty Long, Donna Austin, Donald (Donna) Spinks, and Charlotte Faulk; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family who adored her. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Margaret Young.
The family received friends on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Clark Funeral Home & Chapel. A celebration of Brianna’s extraordinary life was held on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Dave Hardin Stadium at Paulding County High School, where loved ones gathered to honor her memory.
