Cristina Ulbrich Obituary, Cause of Death – Wife of Falcons Coach Dies at 48

Cristina Ulbrich, the wife of Atlanta Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, has passed away at the age of 48 following a lengthy battle with cancer. The team announced her death on Friday, leaving the Falcons family and wider community mourning the loss of a beloved wife, mother, and friend.

Cristina was a devoted mother of three and a cherished figure within the Falcons organization. Falcons owner Arthur Blank paid tribute to her, stating, “Cristina will always be an important part of our Falcons family. My heart is with Jeff, Samantha, Jax, Jace and the entire Ulbrich family during this unimaginable time.” He further described her as someone who faced every challenge with extraordinary courage, strength, and grace, inspiring many through the way she lived and fought.

Cristina met Jeff Ulbrich in 1997 during a recruiting trip at the University of Hawaii. Jeff went on to play two years at Hawaii before being selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2000 NFL Draft. He played ten seasons with the 49ers before transitioning into coaching, with roles at the Seattle Seahawks, UCLA, New York Jets, and eventually the Atlanta Falcons.

Together, Cristina and Jeff built a family, raising three children—a daughter and two sons. Cristina’s love and support were central to Jeff’s career and their family’s journey, and she is remembered for her unwavering devotion and strength.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced as the family takes time to grieve privately.
