Marcus Miller Obituary, Cause of Death – Sugarcreek, Ohio Motorcyclist Dies at 26
The Sugarcreek, Ohio community is mourning the tragic loss of Marcus Miller, a 26‑year‑old motorcyclist who died Sunday morning in a fatal multi‑vehicle crash on State Route 39. His sudden passing has left family, friends, and loved ones grieving the loss of a young man whose life was cut short in a devastating collision.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 10:37 a.m. in Sugarcreek Township. Marcus was riding a black 2011 Kawasaki EX250 westbound when a red 2016 Mazda CX‑5, driven eastbound by an 84‑year‑old Dover woman, attempted a left turn onto County Road 77. The Mazda crossed into the westbound lane, causing Marcus’s motorcycle to strike the passenger side of the SUV. The impact threw Marcus and his motorcycle across the center line, where they collided with the front of an eastbound 2023 Nissan Rogue driven by a 49‑year‑old woman from Coshocton.
Emergency crews responded immediately and attempted lifesaving measures, but Marcus was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities confirmed that he was wearing both a helmet and full protective riding gear at the time of the crash. The drivers of the Mazda and Nissan were not seriously injured.
Marcus’s passing has deeply affected the Sugarcreek community, where he is remembered as a beloved son, family member, and friend.
