Growing up in a multigenerational Deaf family, she embraced American Sign Language as her first language and proudly represented the Deaf community wherever she went.
Kaylee was a senior at the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin, where she was admired for her kindness, dedication, and bright spirit. She excelled both in the classroom and on the track, setting a school record in the 300‑meter hurdles with a time of 48.21 and competing in the TAPPS championship in 2025. She also placed second in a debate competition at Gallaudet University, where she spoke thoughtfully about artificial intelligence.

Kaylee was best known for portraying Jia in Godzilla vs. Kong and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, roles that brought authentic Deaf representation to millions.
